FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
A: I am mainly a natural light photographer when working for many weddings. I tend to lean towards a more photo journalistic style of photography. However, I do enjoy taking a more creative style when shooting with models or while working on other projects.
HOW MANY PICTURES SHOULD WE EXPECT TO GET AFTER OUR WEDDING
A: This tends to vary depending on many factors. During a normal wedding day it is easy to take over a thousand pictures from the getting ready until the end of the night. Especially when a second shooter s involved. All of these pictures are then gone through to remove any unusable photos ( such as blinkers, unflattering shots, etc.). While many photographers limit your package to a handful of selected photos, I give you a complete collection of your day with all of your pictures telling your whole story. This also comes in a convenient thumb drive, as well as online viewing, and a print release to print your pictures freely wherever you may chose.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PICTURES BACK
A: The editing of over a thousand pictures takes time. You also do not want someone rushing through your photos just to reach set deadlines. The more pictures there are to edit, the longer it takes. I usually try to keep my editing to a months time. This allows me to give the proper attention to edit ALL of your photos, while continuing to commit to my job and other events that need to be tended to day to day.
DO YOU SHOOT BY YOURSELF OR DO YOU BRING A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER
A: I always shoot with a second, and there are a few reasons for this. One,both sides get ready separately. This allows both parts of each others day to be captured. Second, having another eye throughout the day will help capture moments that you don't want to forget. Third, my second will always shoot from different vantage points, angles, and with different lenses to try and capture a variety of different views I can not capture alone. Finally, It is important to have someone with you who you trust, is competent, and has the experience to shoot a whole wedding by your side. This is unfortunately something that many people don't want to think about, but (god forbid) something ever happened preventing your main photographer to be unable to make your day. This guarantees you have coverage from another professional and experienced individual.
DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE FOR OUTSIDE LEHIGH VALLEY WEDDINGS
A: All fees are calculated into your package when shooting within the Lehigh Valley area. However, if shooting farther distances, room and board my come at an additional fee. As a photographer, our days start early, are long, and have little to no breaks. The last thing we want to do is travel a long distance at night and risk any potential accidents from occurring. This can all be discussed during your consultation.
